Job Posting: Community Engagement and Marketing Manager
Location: Norwalk, CA
Milagro Cinemas is seeking a dynamic and passionate Community Engagement and Marketing Manager for our newly remodeled luxury 8-plex movie theater in Norwalk, CA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute year-round promotions and marketing strategies.
- Utilize social media and special promotions to build specialized audiences for the theater's film and community programs.
- Conduct community outreach to local organizations, building partnerships by offering the theater for fundraisers and community events.
- Develop and manage film clubs, TEDx-style programming, film festivals, and special events for various groups, including children with disabilities, schools, veterans, sports clubs, and senior citizen groups.
- Organize and promote events such as back-to-school backpack giveaways, community giving programs, and scholarship fundraisers.
- Collaborate with businesses to sponsor theater programs and fill backpacks for giveaways.
- Attend and speak at community organization events and meetings.
- Write content in English and Spanish for local media and social media platforms.
Qualifications:
- A college degree is preferred.- Background in community organizing, marketing, or program administration is highly desirable.
- Grant writing experience to fund local programs is a plus.
- Excellent public speaking skills.
- Self-starter with high self-motivation.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
